Sometimes it’s just nice to laugh…especially when a wicked storm is bearing down on you…be encouraged!
For some reason I thought you were in Colorado. Were you in Sandy’s path?
Hey Todd, the Gang of Five (3 cats, 2 dogs, all rescues), Susie and I are firmly ensconced in the rolling hills of Brown County, Indiana…we got some 50 mph winds and rain…the only worry was from our home sitting in the middle of woods…trees bend and fortunately this time none broke.
Colorado does sound wonderful…we tried to move to Boulder after we finished the Run Across America (always in caps…hahaha), but property values were sky-high and job prospects were nil, so we returned to Indiana…which was perfect when our Grandson was born six years ago.
Hey I want to apologize for not replying sooner…trying to burn the candle at both ends and I’m in dire need of more wax…lol…be encouraged!
Ahhh. Then we’re closer than I thought — same time zone anyway. I live on that little thumb of Wisconsin that juts out into Lake Michigan. We got the same winds and big waves on the lake but nothing compared to our friends in THE city…
Although I have toyed with the idea on and off for years of moving to either coast, there are definite benefits of staying right here in the good ol’ midwest…except come tornado time…be encouraged!
